This work explores the representation of the Yugoslav New Wave through the analysis of the documentary film “The New Wave in Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia as a Social Movement”. Although ...the New Wave covers many spheres of art, in this analysis we will investigate it as the musical and cultural phenomena. The theoretical frame within the analysis is based on the idea that a documentary film can help us understand a particular period as well as reinvestigate it, and (re)construct it from a new. The results from this analysis should be able to show how the narrative about the New Wave continues to live thirty, forty years later, as well as how it inspires to (re)create and appoint with every new film made.
Principal intention of this thesis is comparation of given equations for minimal and central thickness of elastohydrodynamical lubricant film at elliptical contact between smooth rubbing faces in regular isothermal conditions. Thereinafter, possible approaches to assessment of thickness of lubricant film and verification of their validity via experiment are trashed out.

Straipsnyje aptariama XX a. pradžios avangardinio kino ieškojimų įtaka tolesnei vizualinės kultūros, skaitmeninių technologijų raidai.
The present work discusses the influence of the avant-garde cinema of the early 20th century on further developments in visual culture and digital technology. The author analyses the examples of German abstract cinema, which determined the philosophical, theoretical and aesthetical preconditions of this exceptional genre of art. The principles of cinematic iconography and its connection with dadaism and futurism of those times are revealed by discussing the works of V. Eggeling, H. Richter, W. Ruttmann, and O. Fischinger. The work also discusses how strategies of avant-garde cinema got established in the commands of software and metaphors of media art. What once were exceptions in traditional cinema, now have become normative techniques of digital cinema. Therefore, instead of witnessing the unseen manifestations of the future, in our euphorical encounters with the newest digital visualisations of electronic music we find the boldest dreams of avant-garde cinema of the early 20th century.
The paper is focused on the area of pupil education and emphasizes the need for its appreciation. Education is not only a matter of school, but of whole society. But school and teachers have a ...specific role and responsibility. The reality is that in schools we can see an increase of unwanted pupils' manifestation that need to be inhibited. What is expected of present and future teachers is highlighted in the paper, e.g. emotionality of education, more comprehensive approach to the pupil and their correct diagnostics, etc. Focusing on these and other areas helps schools remove aggression. In this context, the paper describes some psychological theories of aggression: biological theory, theory of frustration, cognitive-behavioral theory and integrative theory. In conclusion, the authors emphasize the idea that reality is such that present times devalue moral and other values of people. Because of this we have to strengthen the educational work.
The aim of this paper is to introduce one of the classical sociological research conducted by Paul F. Lazarsfeld and Elihu Katz in the city of Decatur (Illinois) in the Midwest of United States in ...1955. The subject of the research was nonformal everyday interpersonal influence in areas of marketing, fashion, public affairs and movie going and the object was the population of women older 16 years (n = 718). By means of indicators of life cycle, social status and gregariousness the research report describes the profiles of opinion leaders in given areas and provides an answer to question if the two step flow of communication hypotheses is applicable in mentioned spheres of social life.
Comparative musical science, later ethnomusicology, was born and, in the positive sense of the word, developed in close relation to the historic development of audiovisual recording technologies. ...Especially its music analysis methods went through an important process of improvement in the last third of the 20th century in connection with the fast development of digital and later information and communication technologies and, above all, with the intensive improvement of technological devices which are capable of visualising the physical parameters of sound signals.
This paper describes the background of the most important areas of ethnomusicological research of folk musical instruments in Slovakia in the context of the international scientific discourse. It deals with the forms of application of digital technologies in ethnoorganological research, the methodological issues associated with the sound recording of musical performers and, finally, with the specificities of the analysis of instrumental music sound records with an emphasis on the current research of playing styles. Digital technologies play a key role in all research stages
leading to the understanding of the vocal essence of traditional music. This relates to several distinctive theoretical and methodological issues, a selection of which is discussed in the final part of the text.

The study focuses on ways in which the Czechoslovak state propaganda instrumentalized topics related
to Germanness while striving to build and strengthen Czechoslovak citizens’ loyalty to the new ...regime after the communist accession to power in 1948. The main target group of the research were children and the youth. The results show that the post-war image of a “German” equaled to a “danger” was intentionally neutralized with the help of a wide spectrum of propagandist tools. The necessity of stabilization and integration of the Soviet bloc and reinforcement of its military strength was safeguarded by representing Western Germans as unfortunate victims oppressed by the imperialists and Eastern Germans as “trusted neighbors” who could be relied upon even as the armed allies. The task of supporting the social cohesion of the “working class” demanded the introduction of a new political discourse which could guarantee the inclusion of remaining members of the German minority in Czechoslovakia.
